to start off, let me first say that i love my country. intensely too, i may add.
but i am also a huge fan of self-deprecating humour. the ability to laugh at oneself is pretty charming, i must say.
so i do think what i came up with is pretty funny. of course i would, i thought of it.
but i am also sure that the powerS-That-Be would certainly not be very amused by this.
maybe one day i would float this idea for perhaps a tee shirt to the team, but i am also sure it would be shot down and thrown out of our second floor window.
besides, the icon of our hospitality is a trademarked image. it can't be used.
to be really clear, i am not expressing a sentiment. just pointing out a somewhat unfortunate coincidence. i acknowledge that not everyone shares my sense of humour. maybe you will get it, maybe you won't. either way, i still think it is funny.
