and you keep saying it is the others. it is them who burned the bridges. honestly, have you really taken a good look? the end of the bridge from your side is no longer a bridge to speak of. it has turned into ashes. you were an arsonist too.
and you keep saying the distance is created when the others walked away from you. somehow time has taught them to walk on by. honestly, have you really taken a good look? they may have taken some steps away from where they were, but did you know, so have you.
and you keep saying, keep saying, saying and saying and saying. but have you really looked? you may have stood on the same spot, but all you did was to say something about it. and it has always been them, hasn't it? what about yourself? somehow, we all grew so vulnerable. i suspect none of us are capable of serious introspection.
once, i realized i got so lost. not just that. i got so lost with a map in hand. there was this someplace i was so busy trying to get to. then i understood it took me too far away from you. you could say i was really happy then. because it finally hit me where i wanted to be, where i wanted to go and it didn't even need a map. that was until i saw you mirroring my initial actions. that was until i realized it might be an irony only for me. my own irony to be lost with a map. it might not be the same for you. you might not have thought the same even. you might not be lost. you might just be holding your map, heading somewhere.
